1. The short version
This website uses no tracking cookies. Without your consent, no analytics and no advertising pixel run here — nothing that would track you.
We only store your choice in the cookie bar, (during a chat) the content of the conversation in your browser, so that it is not lost, and temporarily the fact that you closed the holiday notice. That is all — all three are listed below.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. The same rules apply to localStorage and sessionStorage — browser storage that works in a similar way. Below we list everything the website actually stores, regardless of the technology used.
3. What this website actually stores
Strictly necessary (always on)
vw_consent_v1 — localStorage
Purpose: remembers what you chose in the cookie bar, so that we do not ask on every visit.
Content: only whether you allowed analytics and marketing tools, plus the date of your choice.
Validity: 6 months, then we ask again.
vw_chat_v1 — sessionStorage (only if you open the chatbot)
Purpose: holds the course of the conversation, so that your chat is not lost when you move to another page.
Content: the text of your conversation with the bot.
Validity: disappears when you close the browser tab. It is not sent to us and we do not store it.
vw_notice_dovolenka_2026_07 — sessionStorage (temporary, until 26 July 2026)
Purpose: remembers that you closed the holiday notice, so that it is not shown to you again.
Content: a single value "1" — no personal data.
Validity: disappears when you close the browser tab.
Analytics (switched OFF by default)
Google Analytics 4 — cookies _ga, _ga_*
Purpose: anonymous traffic statistics — which pages are useful and which are not.
Status: not deployed yet. When we deploy it, it will load exclusively with your consent. If you do not give consent, the script is not inserted into the page at all.
Marketing (switched OFF by default)
Google Ads — cookies _gcl_au, _gcl_aw
Purpose: measuring advertising effectiveness — whether an enquiry came after a click on an ad.
Status: not deployed yet. When we deploy it, it will load exclusively with your consent.
Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram) — cookies _fbp, fr
Purpose: remarketing and measuring advertising effectiveness on Facebook and Instagram.
Status: not deployed yet. When we deploy it, it will load exclusively with your consent. If you do not give consent, the script is not inserted into the page at all.
4. What is NOT here
For the record — this does not happen here:
Today no advertising pixel and no analytics — including the Meta Pixel. We plan to use them, but they will only start with your consent (see above).
No newsletter and no bulk e-mails.
No visitor database and no CRM — your messages reach us by e-mail and are not stored anywhere.
No third-party cookies for cross-site tracking.
Should this ever change, we will change this document first.
5. How to set it up
On your first visit, a cookie bar appears at the bottom. You have three options:
Accept all — you allow both analytics and marketing tools.
Reject — only the strictly necessary remains.
Settings — you switch on individual categories separately.
By default everything except the strictly necessary is switched off — until you decide, nothing is loaded.
You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" button in the footer of any page. Or simply clear this site's data in your browser — we will ask again.
6. Google Consent Mode
The website is ready for Google Consent Mode v2. We set the "consent not granted" signal as soon as the page loads, so that when we deploy Google tools in the future, they receive it before the first measurement. Today nothing is sent to Google — no Google script is loaded into the page at all. Without consent, no advertising or analytics cookies are set.

How we handle the data you send us yourself (form, chatbot) is described in the Privacy policy.
